<p>After the Cabinet meeting, Chief Secretary PK Jena gave a press conference and explained how the program will address the need of competent Human Resources in developing trades by providing top-notch training, building industry connections, and increasing employability skills.</p>

<p>Additionally, it will aid in closing the skills gap in the use of modern technology in traditional industries (agricultural, crafts, and looming). According to Jena, the program will be implemented in all 30 of the state’s districts.</p>

<p>Opportunities for training, retraining, and upskilling will be made available via the Skill Development & Technical Education Department’s skilling institutions (ITI, Polytechnic, etc.), government skilling institutions, educational institutions, and clusters (MSME, agricultural, craft, etc.).</p>
