After Murmu gave Odisha the lead, Rajasthan’s Richardson Denzell scored the equalizer. After two matches, Rajasthan and Odisha each have three points. Group F is quite fascinating since the Indian Army FT also has three points.

Pushpendur Kundu, the head coach of Rajasthan United FC, set up his squad in a 4-3-3 configuration with Richardson Denzell in the offensive captain position. Surag Chhetri replaced Raghav Gupta in the starting lineup from the last game, the only change the coach made.

Rahul Mukhi and Chandra Mohan Murmu replaced Samir Kerketta and Raisen Tudu in the starting lineup from Odisha FC head coach Amit Rana’s last loss against the Indian Army.

In the very first minute of the half, RUFC made an opportunity for themselves. Vanlalzahawma received a cross from the left by Lalchungnunga, but the forward missed the target.

Moving forward, Odisha FC seemed to be more well-coordinated. They had a great chance to go up, but Sachin Jha, the goalkeeper for Rajasthan, made two saves to prevent it. Kartik Hantal’s shot was the first he stopped, and Pungte Lapung’s shot was the second. Both shots were stopped by the goalie.

Adwin Tirkey’s long-range attempt, which just missed the post, challenged the goalkeeper. Both sides had scoring opportunities in the first half, but no one could complete the play, leaving the score even.

Odisha scored the game’s first goal in the 48th minute, breaking the deadlock fairly early in the second half. Rahul Mukhi headed Adwin Tirkey’s corner back into the danger zone, where Chandra Mohan Murmu skillfully completed it beyond the goalie.

Odisha’s advantage only lasted for three minutes before Rajasthan retaliated. A powerful strike by Ghanaian Richardson Denzell from 30 yards out found the back of the net through the clutches of Odisha goalkeeper Niraj Kumar. After the goal, the game became more open as both sides attempted to seize the lead and create opportunities.

In order to keep the scores tied, both goalkeepers had to work hard and make some excellent saves. As a result of Matthew Ofori Dunga’s foul on Rahul Mukhi inside the penalty area in the second half, Odisha was given a penalty. The youthful Odisha team took the lead when Aphaoba Singh successfully converted the penalty.

Rajasthan attempted to get an equalizer, but the youthful players from Odisha resolutely guarded, forcing the side from Jaipur to take long-range efforts. The finest opportunity to tie came from a corner that Denzell deflected into the post.

Dunga received the rebound, and his shot was blocked by Odisha captain Rakesh Oram while Denzel waited in the background to score. In the last seconds of extra time, Rajasthan had a wonderful chance to steal the equalizer from a corner.

The young men from Odisha earned their first victory of the competition when the Odisha keeper totally missed the ball. Denzell, who was waiting behind, could only head the ball over the goal.
