<p>The Scorpio for the military services maintains its distinctive and commanding attitude while retaining its vintage appeal. This variant, as opposed to the most recent “Classic” model, has an earlier grille, tail lamps, and the original Mahindra logo. The army-spec Scorpio is painted a matte green that is only available to the military and is somewhat higher with more ground clearance, making it ideal for navigating difficult terrain.</p>
<p>Although the automaker has not yet made official specs available, reports indicate that the SUV will likely be powered by the same powerful 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine featured in the pre-Classic model. In comparison to the Classic version’s 130 horsepower and 300 Nm torque, this monster produces an astonishing 140 bhp. The army-spec Scorpio is prepared for any task with to its standard 44 and 6-speed manual gearbox.</p>
<p>The Scorpio may have undergone further improvements to satisfy the demanding requirements of military missions, perhaps increasing its minimum cargo capacity to an astonishing 800 kg. Although the interior specifications have not yet been disclosed, it is assumed that several amenities supplied in the civilian version may not be included in the army-spec version.</p>
<p>This significant purchase joins the 3192 Tata Safari Storme GS800 units that were earlier bought to expand the fleet of military vehicles. Given that they have long been adversaries in the Indian car business, seeing these two automotive behemoths working together in competition would definitely be a sight to witness.</p>
