IPL 2023 Final, CSK vs. GT: Predictions from a Viral Video MS Dhoni and Hardik Pandya's 'Conversation' as the Title Decider

Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his disciple Hardik Pandya will square off in the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) final between the four-time champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the reigning Gujarat Titans (GT) at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday.

A video from a YouTube channel went popular on social media before the crucial match.

Two actors who closely resemble Dhoni and Hardik Pandya in mannerisms can be seen conversing in the video. In their talk, Hardik predicts a CSK vs. GT IPL2023 championship match and believes he would undoubtedly win, to which Dhoni responds that he will win since it is his “last IPL.”

The dialogue in the parody video is made up by actors playing the parts of Dhoni and Hardik.

IPL 2023 has completed a circle as both of these teams, CSK and GT, began play at the same location. In the inaugural match, the Titans had defeated CSK. CSK, though, tied the game earlier this week with a convincing victory in Qualifier 1 in Chennai. The two teams, who are based on the same ideology, are now ready for their ultimate clash.

No player has participated in more summit confrontations than Dhoni, who will play in his 11th IPL final on Sunday (his tenth with CSK). Pandya, however, has been in five finals before 2023 and has an incredible record of winning on every occasion (four with the Mumbai Indians and one with the Gujarat Titans).

With Mumbai Indians, CSK will have a chance to tie the record for most championships (five), while Titans, who stunned everyone by winning the crown in their first season, would be eager to make it two in two.

As GT needed to overcome Eliminator champion Mumbai Indians by 62 runs in Qualifier 2 in order to advance to the summit match, CSK defeated GT by 15 runs in Qualifier 1 to secure their spot in the championship game.
